Sheetfed offset. Perfect bound.
Acceptable Material
File Format
High-resolution PDF. The PDF should be distilled to Acrobat 5, (pdf1.4) compatibility. All fonts must be embedded or, if that option is unavailable, fonts must be converted to paths/outlines. We do not accept any open files.
Images
Images must be CMYK colour; a minimum resolution of 300dpi; maximum total ink coverage of 300% is recommended.
Lineart must be a minimum of 1200dpi. Images must not contain extra channels: transfer curves; OPI information or be compressed. No spot colours are to be used.
Document
Centre advertisement on the page with crop marks. If bleed, allow 5mm bleed all round. All dimensions must comply with the published requirements of the publication. These are available from NZ Autocar magazine. PDFs must be generated to the correct size.
Proofs
If an approved 3DAP contract proof is not supplied, colour fidelity is not guaranteed. A laser proof is not a contract proof. A list of approved contract proofing output devices is available at www.3DAP.com.au.
Please note: Advertising material not supplied to correct specifications will be returned or incur a minimum fee of $150 for any additional work required.
